another year down!

 Matt is a week away from being done with his second year of residency!  Each year the department hosts a fun dinner in honor of the graduating residents.  This year's was a couple weekends ago and was a lot of fun. :)  Matt received two awards at the dinner - so proud of him!

thankful for the torrential downpour that denver received yesterday.  i had one happy pup to play in the rain with.

Denver Century Ride

I completed my first metric Century Ride last weekend! 62 miles and it was so much fun!! 

 The scenery was gorgeous - of course my iPhone photos don't do it justice.  

 I rode the first half with my Dad, then my mom joined us. 

My generous parents gave me this bike last Christmas and I LOVE it :)

stephanie visits denver!

It was such a treat to get to see my bestie from high school, Stephanie, and her sweet boy, Connor this week!  They were in town for a day and I loved getting to hang out with them and catch up.  

I was a little worried about the lack of toys in my house to occupy an almost three year old, but I guess I underestimated this little guy's creativity. Who knew a lantern could be so much fun?

 Connor and Jake really hit it off :)
