new blog design!

Don't you love my new blog design?!

I love the happy, fresh feel of it.  Kind of a long time coming. :)

All credit goes to the talented Marina at Penny Lane Designs.  Isn't she great?

and now I can post huge photos.

you know, just in case one of my two readers is slightly visually impaired.

I snapped this one on my walk with Jake this morning.

another year down!

... (almost)

Matt is a week away from being done with his second year of residency!  Each year the department hosts a fun dinner in honor of the graduating residents.  This year's was a couple weekends ago and was a lot of fun. :)  Matt received two awards at the dinner - so proud of him!

Denver Century Ride

I completed my first metric Century Ride last weekend! 62 miles and it was so much fun!!

The scenery was gorgeous - of course my iPhone photos don't do it justice.

I rode the first half with my Dad, then my mom joined us.

My generous parents gave me this bike last Christmas and I LOVE it :)

done!

I'm looking forward to the next one!  :)
